Interim Reserve Manager
Robert Pelant became Interim Reserve Manager in late October 2024. He lived on Whidbey Island from 2005 through 2023. He serves as the liaison between Reserve staff and the Trust Board working with the Trust Board on the search for a permanent Reserve Manager. As a veterinarian, most of Dr. Pelant’s professional life has focused on human and animal health, food security and ecological restoration in Asia, Latin America, Africa and the US.
